Josh Martin came out and gave us a great quote with a warranty he could stand behind. He gave us three different quotes—two for mini-split options and one for a new whole home unit. Our current AC/heater was going on 14 years. He did the calculations, and we determined it was undersized for the house. The mini-split option would’ve been fine until our unit went out due to its age. He was fine sending his team out to do the cheaper option, but after giving us the option to get it done the right way, we went with that. He got everything rolling at 7 p.m. that day, and he had a team with all the equipment and materials here the day after. In the middle of the summer, it’s a testament to how seriously they take their profession.
