Josh Martin came out and gave us a great quote with a warranty he could stand behind. He gave us three different quotes—two for mini-split options and one for a new whole home unit. Our current AC/heater was going on 14 years. He did the calculations, and we determined it was undersized for the house. The mini-split option would’ve been fine until our unit went out due to its age. He was fine sending his team out to do the cheaper option, but after giving us the option to get it done the right way, we went with that. He got everything rolling at 7 p.m. that day, and he had a team with all the equipment and materials here the day after. In the middle of the summer, it’s a testament to how seriously they take their profession. Couldn’t be more impressed. His team, Cody R, Austin E, and Cody P, were professional, clean, quick, and personable. It’s great knowing these experts performed the install. I have no doubt that they treat everyone’s home the same way. The company is undoubtedly held up by teams like these gentlemen. True tradesmen and professionals.

During our winter air conditioning system check, Travis #1 noted that we were low on freon, which didn’t require immediate attention. After Travis’s recommendations and discussing the changes in gas and the increase in all air conditioning systems in the very near future, we decided a new Lennox system was the best choice for us. A new system was ordered and an installation date set for the following week. Travis #2 and Cody arrived to remove and install our new unit. As with most projects at our home, things didn’t go as planned. Travis and Cody worked all day without a break to finish our install. With the installation complete, the initial setup had more issues for the two techs to handle. After some phone help from other techs and Tyler coming to lend a hand, they had the unit functioning so we had heat for the evening. Before departing, the old equipment and the mess from removal and installation was cleaned up. Travis #1 was tasked with coming back the next morning to finish the install and setup. He also needed to make a call to the “Lennox expert” and was able to find a setting in the menu that needed to be changed. He was finished with everything in about an hour. There are no two jobs the same and I think it is fantastic that these technicians can count on the experience and knowledge of coworkers to be able to help complete a job. After using Von’s for several years I would recommend them for any air conditioning needs.

We started out seeking a bid from prominent companies for a new HVAC system and to replace all duct work in our house. Vons came in with the best pricing, so we went with them installing a Lennox system. Ernie, who headed the installation, was excellent in keeping us informed and the project on time. I watched the entire process over two days and was very impressed with the quality of the install with Ernie and his coworkers Joe and Joe. Attention to detail was off the charts. Called Von's because of its fantastic reviews. My gut kept gnawing at me to get a second opinion. Trust and faithfulness evaporated over previous HVAC company service. Felt like I was betraying over 20 yrs of loyalty. Made a choice to trust my intuition and call Von's Heating and Air for a second opinion. Tanya answered. She listened to my concerns about getting a second opinion from Von's because of my intuition telling me something was not right over a recent visit from a company I have used for a long time. This woman is special, and her confidence and loyalty to Von's Heating and Air left me no doubt about trusting my gut when something doesn't match up. I called around 8:00 a.m. She offered me a same-day appointment between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. I accepted the appointment. Technician Pro Tyler arrived before 1 p.m. Checked and diagnosed my air handler, replaced a transformer, realigned some wire connections, and got air handler running. Next, diagnosed condenser and found shorted connect switch. Realigned assortment of wires. The condenser came to life. He operated like a surgeon. I watched in awe. He did what I trusted another company to provide. Trust, honesty, and knowledge and corrected my AC problems. Not once mentioning that my problems required a complete new system to correct. I am pleased beyond measure with the outcome Tanya initiated and Tyler provided. Von's services and parts costs were reduced because they offered a veterans discount. The total cost was very fair, and I have a 1-year warranty on each part installed. My home is cooling, and I feel good about not accepting questionable motives when my intuition screamed Red Flag. John saved the day once again! We’ve had a tough time with our AC in the past year, and Von's has come through every time. Signing up for the family plan was also the best choice we’ve ever made, and it more than paid off tonight when our AC went out at bedtime while I’m 8 months pregnant. John got here so quickly and found the issue and repaired it within minutes. He let my little guy watch the whole thing and explained in detail what went wrong and how he repaired it. 10/10 recommend for every friendly tech we’ve ever had (shout out to Eddie and Tyler, too!) and the best pricing around.

Tyler came out and made very quick work of our issue. Took one look at the capacitor and said, “Yep. That’ll do it.” My numbskull was running the AC even though it was broke, so the condenser was over temp. He rectified that too with a quickness. Got here at 4:28. Was gone by 4:46. Highly recommend.
